http://www.myhindupage.org/index.php/photo-doc-thaipusam-procession-to-batu-c... The festival of Thaipusam in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia begins with a parade at midnight on the eve of Thaipusam. This parade starts from the Maha Mariamman Temple in the center of Kuala Lumpur city. At the center of this parade is a deity of Lord Muruga on a chariot. Upon reaching the caves, devotees head to the beautifully adorned Murugan shrine, where the milk that they had devotedly carried is offered as abhishegam for a small Vel that is placed under the main Murugan deity.
