One hell of a sound. I set my idle to about 800 and when I rumble into a parking lot you can see the girl's knees buckle. Maybe I am just imagining that last part.

Tick tick tick tick tick tick vrooooooooooooooooooom

a buzz, and it probably isn't doing it because on my Elky the ignition switch is worn. It turns to lock, on, and start fine, but you have to jiggle the key around to get it to buzz

Sweet truck! I'd love to have one just like it! You're a lucky person!

I noticed that this El Camino makes no sound when the keys are in the ignition and the doors are open because the wires for the warning sound were cut. What sound did this 1987 El Camino originally make? Was it a chime sound or a buzz sound?

Sweet Elky man, sounds nice. What kind of exhaust does it have? I put a set of Hooker headers(with ports for the smog system), electric cutouts, and flowmaster 40 series on my '86 El Camino
