This is the music video to the title track to Joni's album, Night Ride Home (my favorite album!!!). Night Ride Home was released in 1991.

i never knew how much her music meant to me, but this gigantic wave of nostalgic melancholia keeps hitting me. im a child again! - i can see my dad singing along, the fire in the fireplace and me just sitting there - admiring my dad while enjoying his freshly baked bread with cold butter. when i hear this song i feel loved and safe. im a bit teary-eyed right now.

Steluna47 like this song so much, even Night Ride Home is American Apple Pie The album cover is such cool art.. I like the video! But I would almost always close my eyes,there is some thing about this song, that is still mystic healer. It really tells you don't think about things till tomorrow,you just stroll around eye guide. I wish the song could have been a little longer.

Joni is radiant to this moment in time.....Night Ride Home is a magical song - imho, better experienced within your own mind and imagination. The video falls far short of the power and beauty of the song...good try, though...close your eyes and dream on

What a lovely song, what a lovely lady. The man in the truck next to her was her then husband Larry Klein, who was also her bass player and producer.

Everytime I hear this song I can't help to revive every single night I spent during summers staring at the inmense star ocean holding hands with my significant other. Now I'm all by myself, but Night Ride Home was always my sweet memento of those long gone days

there was an excelent band here in Brasil called "legiao urbana", and they played "the last time i saw richard" in the unpluged mtv. wanderfull. search it here in utube...
