First three runs down the quarter mile.

Run 1 - 13.950 @ 162.69 km/h (2.196 60ft)
Run 2 - 13.957 @ 162.05 km/h (2.209 60ft)
Run 3 - 13.934 @ 161.42 km/h (2.158 60ft)

Stock as a rock.

Car has never run a 14. ;-)

  • When did 13.95 become a "13 second run"?

13.95 is what is known as a "14 second run"

  • Of 139,973 other viewers only one shares your opinion. It's a high 13, that's a 13. Maybe everyone else is just wrong, eh?

  • Last I heard in the world of mathematics, you

"round up" after .5, not down.

Claiming that 13.95 seconds is a "13 second

1/4 mile run" is wishful thinking, and intentionally misleading.

I'm speaking in terms of mathematical realtiy. If 140,000 other people also believe that 13.85 = 13.00, its irrelevant.

  • So for someone to claim a "13 second pass" they're claiming 13.000, eh? That's what you are saying.

It's all relative isn't it. When you measure your cock at 3.6" and claim it's "4 inches" and your gay would-be lovers scoff, then mathematics is your friend.

You're just a tool. Never mind mazda claim 14.3 and I managed to better that - and rather consistently, I might add. Everyone comes here going "great" and you're captain negativity - how is it going through life like that? :-)

  • Just to also clarify .. someone who runs a 13.5, commonly referred to as a "mid-13" .. could not claim a "13 second pass" .. for when you apply mathematical rounding, which is stipulated somewhere in drag racing foke-lore (according to you), it becomes a "14 second pass".

Do you strictly apply rounding to everything you encounter in daily life?

  • I think it's obvious the guy meant 13's which is a common expression meaning in the 13.xxx range. Worded wrong but stop being like Asperger and take the gist of what people meant.

  • some one please tell me why you would waste money on one of these hot wheels and try to make it go fast??????

  • If the timeslip says 13 on it it's a 13 second run.

Plain and simple. Barely squeaked in there but it's in there.

  • Anyway, less than 14 sec for a MazdaSpeed3 is a great time, as previously it got 14.3 sec:

  • yeah more like a flat 14.

    still quick tho

  • Nice runs buddy. High 13's completely stock sounds more like what this car is capable of. Not 14's like Mazda reckons. Though I might add that I did hear from a couple of reliable sources that 0-100 runs for instance or any other performance indicative result provided by the manufacturer is not quite correct. According to those sources, figures given by the manufacturers are a bit more to the coservative side in order to avoid people that might believe they've been misled. Either way good job!

  • Should say 13.95 sec. 1/4 mile run.... lol

  • wow ppl are idiots. in a drag race, you time by the seconds. 13.9 is a 13 second car. 10 second cars are also high 10s sometimes

  • @camirocz - So, the pther two whould be you and whom else?

Read the comments on your page. You've got quite a fan club.

Front Wheel Drive is shit. I appreciate it in the snow...and that's about it.
