Im pretty sure its something to do with either your monitor or your video card, you might want to turn down the gamma/sync w/e that stuff in the options menu is.

You try reinstalling the game?

That happened to me when I bought my gf a new computer. I just updated the drivers for the motherboards graphic card and it worked fine.

I had that problem as well. What I notice is that when I changed the graphic quality to minimum it fixed it. but then if i raised the graphics then the game played fine just that screen changed. So I recommend when you log out, change graphic quality to minimum. Let me know if this helps

im pretty sure i do. ok, first u need to log in as a character, which is gunna suck lol. if u had the same issue as me u cant see the mouse. u want to get in, and try your hardest to change the graphic settings so the game is "Windowed" instead of taking up the full screen. thats what i had to do
