The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John the Evangelist at 6:1-8. The chapter tells of a scroll in God's right hand that is sealed with seven seals. Jesus Christ opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons forth the four beasts that ride on white, red, black, and pale horses which each symbolize Conquest, War, Famine and Death, respectively.[1] The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.
When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come and see!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

The rider of the second horse is often taken to represent War. His horse's color is red. In some translations, the color is specifically a "fiery" red. This color, as well as the rider's possession of a great sword, suggests blood that is to be spilled on the battlefield. The second horseman may represent the war of conquest as opposed to civil war that the first horseman brings. The red horse could also be spiritual war brought by Christ. In Matthew 10:34 Jesus states "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." Also, God is referred to as a "consuming fire" twice in Deuteronomy and once in Hebrews; hence a fiery red sword. The color red could also be a symbolic reference to the reddish hue of smoke from fires covering the face of the daylight hours moon.

A Long Dazed Journey in Two Nights. Why do i feel like Kurtz in Heart of Darkness? The whirled hasn't changed much that i can see.... everyone seems just as dizzy as before. I am slowly starving to death, of that i'm convinced. There seems no easy way to solve this problem now that i've got the full weight of the State pressing down on me. I continue to lose weight, i continue to feel the knives driving deeper into my back..... perhaps that is how it should be. From great suffering comes great wisdom and with that flows the power...... but it flows forever out of me and there's precious little coming back. But what little does come back IS precious. Make no mistake about that. An Orb Spider... a Red Brother... Warner BrOs... how many more are left? While i was recuperating these past few days, i had another distinct memory of my OriginiL Bodhi, and it's a place i yearn to inhabit once more. Our bones are fine latticework of carbon, but not the black charcoal that you're used to.... not it is clear as diamonds... strong as it is hard.... and lighter than a child's daydream. Our skin glisters with a million colors, some you've never seen before, the fine butterfly snake scales that cover it like petals on a flower.
