This is my first video on the subject. I recently de-converted from Christianity after a long stage of discovering many of the things that I will be presenting in these videos. It is amazing to look back and see what I used to believe...

And no, I don't think God is evil... I just don't believe He exists.

  • You are wrong from the start. Example: I read a missionary letter from a man from Nepal. He was born in the Himalayas, far from any Christian influence. He was born and raised to become high priest of the local Hindu system, and it was all he knew. However, he was not satisfied and left as a young adult, turning away from it and seeking the truth. He rejected Muslim, catholic, Buddhism, and eventually found Christ in America. Choice, not environment.

  • @ukulelemike This is a rare exception to a rule that is overwhelmingly evident by simply looking at the demographics of different religions. Environment is without a doubt one of the largest contributing factors to the average person's religion.

  • Also, everyone gets to go to paradise. Romans chapter 6 states that when a person dies their sins are paid for. If their sins are paid for then they get to go to paradise. There is another bible verse, but I forget it, that states if a person doesn't fully understand god that he will judge them on judement day and ask if they deny him or not. If they do, then hell they go. But if god be in front of you would you deny him? No, no one would and then everyone gets to go to paradise.

  • @ssj7warrior Anyone that WOULD deny God after dying and confronting Him would clearly have mental issues and not be fit to be judged. :/

Wait, can a soul have mental issues?

  • Carlton Pearson, formerly a pentecostal preacher, had a revelation that Christ came to save everyone, and they are saved whether they accept it or not. He calls this the Gospel of Inclusion. This allowed him to keep his beliefs in Christianity, but eliminated the problem of a loving God sending the 'unsaved' to hell.

  • @k0smon

I appreciate that there are people who don't expect nonbelievers to go to hell, but unfortunately that belief is in conflict with what the Bible actually says. Of course, you could re-interpret those particular verses to mean whatever you want, but I guess that's why there are thousands of different versions of Christianity to begin with.

  • @ukulelemike ::: But the bible is not universally accepted as 'the word of God'. You accept it by faith, as do most Christians. Why are there so many denominations in Christendom? Because there are so many ways to interpret the bible. The bible contains contradictions and errors, it is not a perfect book. Look how many theological arguments there are to the bible. Theologians debate them all the time. Pre or post trib rapture, live with Jesus or 'soul-sleep'; just two controversial subjects.

  • @k0smon Simple-the Bible says otherwise. revelation will not disagree with the Bible, which is, itself, revelation of God. So, he is trusting in an experience, rather than the expressed word and will of God, which then lumps him in with, "a wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign". He disliked a doctrine, and he got a 'revelation' that agreed with his dislike. Jesus spoke more on hell than He did on heaven, and that for a reason.

  • @FireproofAshes And this is why we have missionaries, why the first church was commanded to , 'go ye into all the world." They went, and the entire known world at the time was evangelized within about 100 years. That many rejected, and still do, and those places have fallen again to paganism is not only not a surprise, it is predicted in scripture, that few there would be that would find it. Even here in this 'Christian' nation, most reject Christianity.

  • @ukulelemike ::: You are some kind of expert on this subject? You sound quite certain of yourself. But Carlton experienced this. You are a total outsider to his experience. Please explain your qualifications to make this judgement.

  • @ukulelemike You sound like a nice enough fellow, so I will be nice. That is the craziest bunch of nonsense ever, and you fell for it! First you are asserting that faith is a gift. A gift from who? And since when is having faith ever been a good thing? Faith equals believing in something without a shred of proof. Never smart my friend.....NEVER

  • @FireproofAshes ::: Can the soul have mental issues? Yes, that is the main kind of problem spirits have. Free download "A Wanderer in the Spirit Lands" will tell you more.

  • @k0smon He is wrong, and is listening to spirits not of God

  • @fermos11111 Faith is a gift: ask for the faith to believe, but expect to follow that faith. If you are determined to not be able to believe it, you won't get it-you have made your choice.Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  • @ninjatomaster Exclusivist??? Jesus died for all men, for the sin of the WORLD, and opened the way for all to have eternal life. You're just upset because God only opened one way, through Jesus Christ, and didn't cater to letting everyone do things their own way. Think about it: is it right that Jesus paid the price for sin, but then we are allowed to ignore Him and jump into heaven through faith in Shiva or Joseph Smith or someone else?
