@thedarqknight69 wasnt it so cool back then! late 80s-early 90s! those were the days! I was in Middle School-High School then and Keith Sweat, Guy, New Edition, En Vogue, Michel'le, Surface, Force MDs, Heavy D, Troop, Boyz II Men, De La Soul, BBD, Jodeci, etc... had some good music!

Most modern R&B isn't even R&B,its just what some clueless bastard at a record company doing marketing to sell the crappy artists they are putting out today.
I always listen to this era,its the only way to get quality, either todays stuff is some young whippersnappers dancing in formation or some mouthy little shits trying to be 'gangsta's'.
Perhaps the record companies can stop employing middle class pasty white kids who think they are in tune with this music(I'm white by the way).
