@chrlej A Tanto is a Knife .. the Short Sword is called Wakizashi

but yeah a Tanto isnt that small its more like a Dagger then a small knife

@filippxxx It is true that the attacks are stylized, but that is for practice and demonstration purposes. However, it is inaccurate to say that these defenses will not work against a real attack. Many of them will. I know people who have done things similar to what you see here against real knife attacks and come away uncut.

This is the biggest bulshit ever. In real life you will never see such knife attacks. Don't do something like this when you are attacked by knife as you will probably be dead.

この演武練習では相手が最初から刃物を持っていることが分かって­いるからできるのだと思います。
