@Amix Thing with the amiga is that it was full of dead promises, especially when new, like with the A1000.
This was always coming, that was always coming out. blahh blahh..
It was a waiting game, while on a real computer we had real games. Or business apps that got the job done.
Commodore and the Amiga betrayed us! Nothing was ever quite right.. Especially the management and sales.
Why would growing and successful PC/Mac market pay any attention to a small-time Amiga market?

It is Amiga, because its created by Amigans together with Amiga interested people and does run AmigaOS applications, both 68k and PPC. It runs MUI, Dopus, TvPaint etc.. and all of your favorite AmigaOS tools, datatypes and gadgets. Natami is great too, but Amiga is really X1000! Its expensive, but it is. Period!

How can you get so low? Amiga is so much better than any PC or MAC.. you just think its better because the big ones says so. OK, X1000 is a bit expensive,.. but it makes worth buying for those interested in AMIGA.. because AMIGA today is a hobby machine because of ALL of you which betrayed Amiga during it lifetime! The PC marked always ignored Amiga, even from 1985 to 1994!!! when Amiga was superior. You are the low one which doesn't care or know what AmigaOS is.. period!

Beta testers got their boards, OS4 was released 4.1.5 with X1000 support, first end user X1000 are in hands of users ... and guess what ... no CUSA Amigas yet, even its just rebrand of existing PCs! And COS is beta! Who is WAPOR?

And since AmigaOS moved to version 4, lighter definition is that it is machine that run current AmigaOS. This way of thinking was OK before MOS and OS4 were introduced and 68k CPUs and CBM died

While Natami is high end AmigaOS3 machine, this is high end AmigaOS 4 machine. It doesnt have custom chipset yes, but that was a goal of transition to PCI and PCI-Express: driver model. See last ProDAD DraCo: that was already RTG-AHI sys without chipset use. No limits now! What then you think of CUSA

Well the first new Amiga was the AmigaOne, then the Sam boards and now only the X1000, well at least when it will be released.
