Great song performed by Elvis in 1969!!
*** IMPORTANT- Elvis NEVER said he wrote or owned this song! I have NO idea why so many people are freaking out because the man is singing a COVER.. Have you people never attended a live concert.. EVER?? ALL bands sing covers.. usually songs they themselves like! Pretty sure Elvis never meant any ill will towards Lil Walter... I'm sure he respected him as an artist and THAT is why he sings this song, and in my opinion, he sings it very well! Some people need to relax and enjoy this for what it is.. A GREAT SONG SUNG BY A MAN WITH A GREAT VOICE! Plain and simple people.. its music, nothing to fight about:)

how about I love BOTH versions! I give respect to all the original artists that Elvis covered. but I love Elvis and nothing will change that.

@akanawha No, he was a singer not songwriter. He had tons of lyrics send to his studio to be recorded by him. He did editorial stuff though and improved some of the covers he sang. He didn't have to write songs.
