New Fantasmic Dragon One Month Old June 1992

The Fantasmic Dragon @ Disneyland Ca. as it was when it first made it big in show biz. Yes this was when the Dragon and Fantasmic first came to the park. No other park had Fantasmic, it was at Disneyland in Ca. it would be a year or two I think before it showed up in MGM Studios in Fl. Yes it was New and not the second dragon as You will see @ Disneyland Ca. now. Yes I did work on this new (old) Dragon before it hit the park,(see Fantasmic Models) of before Photos in work shop.

Oh My... in 1992 there was only this one show Famtasmic!, @Disneyland,Ca. My friends, it was New and it became the #1 show at Disneyland Ca. even so much that they had to Rake the edge of the rivers of America to accommodate the crowds that flocked to see it.

Old Dragon Black Art Magic, New Dragon more Balloon or so it seems. Got to see the new guy sept 6 but no flame first show. Oh and to think it was just a temp show to pull folks off Main Street El Prade.

Sorry the lift to the Dargon was not a "stick" but Thank You anyway. Oh and the Name of the Dragon was dymo taped to the hard hat of the man or woman, who worked the "Joy stick" that made the lift work ie: up, down, left ,right. Oh and "Buckey" was MGM Studios Dragon sorry if You were mislead. As of July 19 2009 there still is no Dragon. I say this because I helped Build the First Dragon with photo Id in the Dragon Lair.

As technologically advanced as the new dragon is, I still love this old one. Just goes to show you, Disney can make even something as simple as a head on a stick and a bunch of black curtains seem magical.
