@ZLUGGO The introductory speech was by Hilly Kristal, CBGB'S owner. The Dead Boys were his favourite act that he'd ever put on at the place. Where would we be without that bloke nowadays?

I met Stiv & Cheetah when they played the Rat in Boston. A great punk act. Cheetah's Gibson Melody Maker was a cheap guitar back then, but damn! it sounds great, and they were amazing.
