In this exclusive online review motors.co.uk put the Chevrolet Cruze to the test! Video by Richard Spawforth website: www.richard-spawforth.moonfruit.com
This Chevy Cruze cost in Holland only lik 19000 euro's wich is cheap for a saloon but with the extra options wich were in my configuration that i made i got it to around 28000 euro's
For that money you can't buy saloons like the VW Passat, BMW 3 serie, Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class, Opel Insignia, Renault Laguna, Citroën C5 etc.
And im not saying these aren't good but thay cost much more then a great car like the Chevrolet Cruze wich looks like a great car
@3n82 Well I do understand what you are saying. Volkswagen's website says the engine is 20% more efficient. Which makes sense. Because a given measure of diesel actually contains 20% more oil than the same amount of gasoline. It has nothing to do with the engine technology and everything to do with diesel being more energy dense. But take a diesel without a turbo and it has approximately the same mpg as the gasoline version.
The Jetta tdi=42mpg highway. The same as the turbo gasoline Cruze
@danie123182 Well if we take an example of a jetta in California, 14.5 gallon capacity @ 4.02/gallon = $58.29 , diesel @ $4.26/gallon = $ 61.77 Thats 5.97% more than gasoline, but there is a fuel efficiency factor. Gasoline range is average 50/50 city/freeway 370 miles. Diesel range is average 50/50 of 515 miles .Thats 39.2 % advantage of gasoline version for the cost of 5.67% more on the price. Plus the added fact that diesel engines have more torque, thats my two cent.
the 2008-present Chevrolet Cruze is assembled in
Brazil: São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo
China: Shenyang, Liaoning
India: Halol, Gujarat
Kazakhstan: Ust-Kamenogorsk
Russia: Saint Petersburg
South Korea: Bupyeong-gu, Incheon
Thailand: Rayong
United States: Lordstown, Ohio
