You can now edit video in REAPER!! The powerful FFmpeg library has been linked into the REAPER interface, giving us a new, powerful, easy to use tool for syncing audio with video, trimming the result, then rendering a new file.

Many musicians are looking for an easy way to make simple performance clips, but inexpensive camcorders that shoot better than decent video still fall down on the audio side. Even in the best of circumstances a camera mounted mic will make excellent audio hard to achieve.

One way to get around this problem is parallel audio recording - capturing the audio on a separate system, then merging the audio and video in post production. This video demonstrates the process in the recording and editing of a simple performance clip using REAPER.

You can get the details you need to add the FFmpeg libraries to your copy of REAPER here: http://cockos.com/wiki/index.php/Vide...
