  • love this pistol...no problrms with my civilian 92 in 6 yrs.

  • @scanpacker They are fantastic pistols. No doubt.

  • limekid, your brother is a Marine and his weapon was malfunctioning because it was dirty? Either standards have dropped since I got out, or your brother is a shitbird. A Marine with a dirty weapon? What a shame. Just kidding about the shitbird comment. Tell your bro I'm disappointed in his gun-cleaning skills, LOL. 5ring USMC 1986-1994

  • @5Ring Hahahaha, I will pass the comment along.

  • Did a little reading on the M9, the military had a competition, various handguns in the 9mm competed (Don't know why the hell NATO chose 9mm when the military is only allowed to use the standard ball ammunition.), they had various tests like soaking it in salt water, dropping on concrete etc. And only this gun and the SIG P226 made it through, and the Beretta won due to cost reasons.

  • @GamePath You are correct. I personally like the Sig better than the Beretta.

  • M9A1 is so freaking awesome.

Disassembles awesome (and reassembles awesome, too)

    Hell of a lot safer

But the stopping power isn't as good as the M1911.

Other than that, just so great.

  • Guns are manufactured to work, Beretta wouldn't be in business if there pistols malfunction. Be certain when buying a new gun that up to 500 plus rounds are spent, in order to work out stifness. That M9a1 is a new pistol. If you continue having problems which I doubt but inoffensive chance you should. Send it back for replacement!

  • how heavy is the tigger pull, without drawing the hammer back?

  • Does anyone know what the better gun is whether is it the beretta or the HK45?

  • @limekid By the way, your video is partially responsible for the new M92A1 sitting in my gun locker. I got tired of trying to dial-in my Ruger SR9 so I traded it for the Beretta. I never had a problem keyholing shots with any M9 variant. This one is no different. I love this gun, only wish I could carry it on duty. It even handled the Paki surplus stuff with the hard primers that none of my other 9's will shoot reliably. Molto Bene!

  • @jackl45 Depends on the agency. Some smaller departments require the officer to buy their own. Others have an issue gun but allow the officer to carry his/her own if it meets certain specs, others (like mine) require officers carry the issued weapon only. Mine issues the Glocks-22 to patrol and Glock-27 to Detectives and Admin (if we want one). We are not allowed to carry anything else on duty, not even a back-up. I have an M&P40c that I like a lot better than any Glock but Beretta my Fave.
