How could Bush have implied that we are a country that abhors using fear as a political tool the way Saddam had/does? Who or what is/was Rove then and his nefarious actions? How could Bush say the average Iraqi would enjoy the benefits of (Cheney's) war? And then freedom? Liberty? All that rhetoric and 200,000-300,000 dead Iraqis and 5,000 dead coalition troops later, this is Orwellian indeed looking back. It's sad, but I am afraid we will see it again in a generation or so in America.
