@fhb3isback was shoved down your throat. He wasn't an "elite" QB, but very few argue that he was a great QB. Also, stats don't tell the whole story.

@fhb3isback He wasn't the greatest QB. He didn't have near as much strength or athleticism as the other touted QBs of his time. But he was smarter than all of them. Very accurate and excellent in the clutch. Also, the year he got a SB ring with Dallas, Aikman got hurt in the Championship game, and Kosar had to go in without really knowing the playbook yet. @suny123boy1 It's just my opinion, but I always felt that Kosar, an average (at his best) quarterback, was shoved down our throats... unlike every other QB we had. He didn't impress me much at all. I guess my "ill will" of Kosar intensified when they ran him out of Cleveland and he signed with Dallas... and got a ring for playing in the last few seconds?!
Chalk it up as personal jealousy, I guess.

This song is like a window into my childhood. I remember thinking Kosar was the best football player on earth...well him and Ickey Woods...who my younger brother used to call "Smelly Trees" Just thought I'd share that with you.
