hence sending a clear message not only to Pali but to the rest of the third world,which if u dont vote for who we like, we're not gonna support you. Now do you think thats fair? shouldnt people be allowed to vote for whomever they want. Yeah not all Palis agree with Hamas, but Hamas won with a large majority, so they have wide support among ordinary Palis. At the end of day, its not Hamas that we should focus on, coz they are reactionary grp, reacting against oppression and occupation.

thats a lot of nonsense. and the truth is if democracy was allowed for once in the muslim world, everyone muslim country including turkey would vote for a hardline islamic group that was opposed to western intervention, recapturing of muslim lands and fighting against foreign soldiers i.e American/British/European= ppl who have no business being in muslim countries . you hve to remember that when hamas came into power, western govts and even the U.N stopped financial support of the Palis.

Being democratically elected does not mean being democratic and everyone in Gaza knows that if he or she would even try to voice their opinion against Hamas publicly they are risking having their knees blown out or be thrown off an eight story building at one point.
