  • I bought a Miami Dade 1:34 ambulance. The frame is identic. I really like diecast ambulances and I plan to give life to another truck as soon as possible, probably in 3-4 month. For myself, it looks like an ambulance and it's ok like that. I agree with your concern about the realism of these trucks, it's fake only.

  • oh yeah make the 16 this not acturate. 14, on the captain's side of the box there is a window on the real rig where the star of life is and the word paramedics 15, if i remember correctly there was a utility compartment below that particular window. and the gurney is not yellow on the real rig it is a green box frame ferno not a striker scissor frame gurney

  • As I can see, you know this truck very well. The thing is, i'm not the builder of this truck, I just gave life to it!!

    Thanks for all your comments!

  • you're right...I did spend a 100$ CAN and I broke it!!!...For a good reason

  • Very Nice and did you use a circuit board?

  • I did use a led chaser kit...I did cross some wires to give the strobe impression...I've got much wires in the cab...I'm disappointed of that...but I like the final impression

  • Bad music but i like the truck

  • and where the front light bar is on the 1:34 there is an H.V.A/C Unit on the 1:1 rig

  • I mean i did work on the 1:1 scale rig. and no floor window as well on the side door, on the box now if i had the time and money i would serious redo all the imperfections from 1:34 rig to match the 1:1. take pictures and sent it to awesome die cast as well as first gear to tell them hey if you want to make the guy satisfied from the department themselves, go down there take picture of the rig then make a mold to match the departments details....not that fucking hard right?

  • nine, wheel wells on box are way too big (1/1 rig was made by taylormade, which their type 1 medium duties havd small square shaped wheel wells), 10, driver and ranking side lower rear corner on 1/34 do not have warning lights like the real one. 11, rear doors on 1/1 rig do not have floor windows, 12, 1/1 rig does not have rear light bar what so ever. 13, last but not 1/34 rig wheel have to brake venting holes, rather than the actual one which has 8 circular brake venting holes

  • Four, front light bar mounted to the box does not exist on real rig (actual rig has cab mounted Code3 split vector light bar). Five the white center light on box front does not exist on actual 1:1 rig (the is a HVA/C unit there). six, box to cab is a non walk through, actual rig is a walk through. seven box is too long on the 1/34 rig. eight, no lower window on side door on 1/1 rig.

  • yeah the replica of the real one i worked on in Broward and there is three things obviously not matching the real thing. scratch that 13 things not matching. first the grill warning lights are too high and are horizontal (real rig lights are in center and are vertical). two the hood warning light are too low (real rig is in line with the hood mounted airhorns). three the airhorns are way too small compare to the actual one.

  • very nice one!
