@Aikiman001 I don't doubt you have. I'm sure in your mind you really are incredible. It's such a shame the rest of the world doesn't train as hard as you do. But maybe we aren't as worried about that sword attack in the alley as you seem to be. How frivolous we must seem to you.

@Aikiman001 Sorry, what I am sharing are aikido videos, of aikidoka training aikido techniques.
My videos are there because of a love and respect for an art. An art that takes many forms, and has many styles and is practiced by many people for many reasons.
What you are sharing is a criticism of aikido, and a great majority of its practitioners.
Good luck on this path, hope it is fulfilling for you.

@Aikiman001 Wow, you are really hung up on that one aren't you? The thread starts with you criticizing someone else's technique, and goes on from there to you scoffing at some of the basic philosophies of a martial art you presume to be such an authority on. It is strange how you carry this 'aikiman' name here on youtube, with such a limited view on the myriad reasons people train, expressing disdain for other's philosophies or practices...It's quite funny.

@Aikiman001 This is where your single-mindedness fails you again. We repeat these things to people like you who only see the techniques, and feel the need to fit them into 'real world' applications. You clearly can't understand the philosophical side of the art. I'm not saying your way is wrong, just saying yet again to you that maybe you should realize there are many reasons people train, and to insult others shows a lack of understanding.
-
@Aikiman001 I understand why you feel the need to ignore the philosophical side of Aikido, it is clearly out of reach for you. Judging by your behaviour on youtube (troll), you would have much conflict in your life, since you clearly seek it out. So good luck training for 'real encounters', as your attitude will likely bring them on. The rest us will continue train for the beauty of the art, the philosophy, the jo & bokken kata, and for fun, exercise, and an appreciation of the art.

@Aikiman001 Remember why we are having this discussion in the first place? It was you who came along and passed judgement on someone else's training. So I'm not sure why you need to carry the discussion back to another conversation I had (with a troll, similar to you). We can see that I do practice Aikido, I have videos from my very own dojo. You? You've shared with us the fact that you are just another troll, who is obviously an armchair ninja. Where is your dojo? Your mom's basement?
-
@Aikiman001 You allege to train in aikido...yet here you are discounting the words of the founder, and discounting the training of others. Perhaps you should change your name to No-kiman, since you clearly don't even know what aiki stands for. Do you know what an internet troll? Look it up if you don't, it defines you perfectly. And don't worry about me needing to feel important & knowledgeable...I'm just responding to a sad man who insists his worldview is the only valid one.

@Aikiman001 If you want to sit back and scoff at the viewpoint of the founder of this art, you are just showing everyone here your arrogance, and disrespect. I see your youtube page has a great video you've shared. A videogame you've played. So who is worried about being taken seriously? While you're at home playing games, and insulting videos, the real aikidoka in my video are getting together and training, which is more than you've shown anyone here...a real internet ninja.
Could I ask for the name of the track, and the band behind it?
Great aikido by the way - lovely to watch.
