  • bad starter. have it checked. nothing wrong with your electrical system and battery because all lights and other stuff are working.

  • If the vehicle has run-on electric rad fans, the battery can be drained after useage. Combine this with short trips and low revs, and eventually, the battery weakens. Always put on a trickle charge after each trip. Some alternators work better with fully charged batteries. A battery voltage check does not indicate charged state, always. Banging on a starter is witchcraft, and may summon an underworld demon that devours Kraft dinners.

  • You need a new battery same thing happend to me yesterday i took it in and they said it needs a new battery.

    mine did the same!.

  • @drewkuch Fuck. I meant Acura.

  • Electrical problem. Honda's are good, if you take care of them. Just like any other car. Replace/charge your battery, then see if the same sound occurs. If so, it's your starter. Bang on it to get by, but replace it soon. Timing belts also need replaced in these cars. As well as air fresheners. Can't be a stinky driver. :)

  • sounds like it needs blinker fluid

  • You have a car made by Honda.

No, seriously, though, that does NOT sound healthy ._.

  • my 94 civic is doing this same thing what is wrong with it need help asap thanks

  • This is old now but, if the starter WASNT engaging the flywheel, as SergentSiler suspected, then you should be able to see that fact by your accessory drive belts/pulleys not moving when cranking. IF the starter is functioning properly then check for fuel and spark! Be sure that no wires/cables, especially GROUNDS are left unfastened etc..

  • haahaha e mo ke è fack!lol
