Jay-Z tried to make his rhymes complex, but ended up making his verses confusing. Rhymes feel forced, and so his flow isn't natural.
Eminem, has multi-syllable, multi-word rhymes, but he blends them in such a way, that it's almost like a conversation, where he's just talking to you. You can understand what he's saying. It's plain English!
I like Jay-Z's verse, but I like Eminem's better
Jay-Z basically just tried too hard to match Em, and came up short IMO.
Also Nas did not help with Ether.
