DDDBM&T were called Dave Dee Group in Japan and this tune also became a big hit, as well as the Japanese language cover version sung by one of the successful Group Sounds(GS) bands The Jaguars.

Sensacional, que música linda. Infelizmente hoje temos que ouvir Luan Santana, Restart, Michel Teló e similares. É de doer.

@ONLY1TOTTENHAM ONJ/ELO had a no 1 in 1980 with XANADU. DDDBM&T did THE LEGEND OF XANADU.

Many years later they still raised the roof in Germany´s best music club. Does anyone remember the Flohzirkus in Hannover?

Jimmy Saville! Legend. For a split second though I thought it was Noel Gallagher.
@snipestar1147 I disagree with you in one thing: Those good songs and singers/bands are not dead, and surely will never be forgotten.
It's us who make this great music stay alive and preserve their age as the day they we're once written. For us twenty-something year old people, our parents taught us about music and we preserve it, as the great gift it is. And i will gladly educate my kids with these wonderful songs.
