Yep Danny looks upto him. They did a ride together and filmed it. Showed on the movie "Find" Danny was amazed to be riding with Peaty and Hans :)

@nortm005 Not old, OLD SCHOOL- Hans is riding Zaskars, Xizangs in this clip- ie. what are now Classics. So is his riding. Danny built on the trails tradition, I'm sure he'd acknowledge that as would many other riders.

Hans Rey is still the man. Sure, my jaw drops at Ryan Leech sticking 180s from one train rail to another, but Hans is one of the (if not THE) giants whose shoulders rider today stand on.
