Everyone seems to get a kick out of discovering new or forgotten T&D film. Here is a fine exhibition program for the 1980 Olympic gala. Not many can say they have seen Torvill and Dean do a death spiral, but you can after you watch this tape!!!!!!

Torvill & Dean actually did a death spiral during this years series of Dancing On Ice, and before on the 2008 Christmas special! =P
It certainly made me think of this routine when it happened though. =] Thanks for posting as I haven't watched this one in a while.

Amazing to think in 1980 Chris Dean was working full time as a British policeman and Jayne Torivill as an insurance clerk! How many teams today get to fourth place at the Olympics whilst still having full time jobs?! They were truly incredible!
