When I watch a movie from the 70s I realize what a simpler time it was

even the movie's had more character then

Yaay ... a film that well and truly passes the Bechdel Test. (If you don't know what that is, look it up.) What's really interesting is that the book was written by a man and the film director, screenplay writer and producer were all male. Yet it carries such a powerful feminist message, one that was totally missing from the pathetic remake.
