@troppodude finishing over the top yes but might and power led from go to whoa and was still good enough to hang on in a photo finish for the win, doriemus was a proven melbourne cup horse, might and power wasnt, imo this race was more impressive than his cox plate win, it showed the remarkable staying power of the horse, a modern day great who could have achieved even more.
