i dont think cedric was even that important. sirius had a whole movie to himself. he was a marauder and jame's friend. he was also very close to harry. he was the only relative wizard in his life for like 2 years. poor sirius...

The only thing i thought wrong with the 5th movie was his dying scene! Cedric got this big 5 min crying scene but Sirius got barely anything!
