I used the open source (free) 3D software called "Blender" and downloaded a compatible minecraft pack.

the leg geometry kinda freaked out when he sat down. I dont know how many polys you have around the joints but adding more polys there might help when it deforms and give it a nicer look.

Yeah, you are right. This was probably one of my first animations, i just wanted to see what i was capable of doing at that time.
