If you've listened to The Clean, the Kiwi band who originally wrote this song, you'd know this was very different from Nowhere Man. Just because it's a twangy guitar song doesn't automatically make it a song by the Beatles. Loads of other bands, i.e. *The Stones*, have had a major influence on music of this sort.
There are plenty of folks out there who don't really fancy the Beatles who'd say that the twangy sound they had early on was lifted from other bands of that era. (Stones)

Don't know much of MGMT music but... I love the original song by the Clean. Though i prefer the original version, this cover sounds cool anyway!
