@castalia60able I had never heard she was a method actor before. Interesting. I don't understand acting enough I guess to notice what different things she may have done. Good for her tho'. It is a wonderful film. Portrait of Jenny was on TCM the other day, and that is another great acting job, a bit creepy tho. Yes, it was very sad about their marriage. Many demons for Robert, and he died so young, age 32. Alcohol, infidelity. He died a broken man and I think a broken heart. RIP

@SoCalGal52 - I saw the film "The Song of Bernadette" incredible film - very good performance. It was said she actually was a method actor because she did things in that movie that no other actress would have done.. That is why she won the OSCAR.
So sad she divorced Robert Walker, actor - they both were good together.. but depression and alcohol ruined their marriage. RIP both of Jennifer and Robert

Jennifer Jones--at least in her persona--typified what is most powerful in Woman: her power to inspire love, nobility and devotion in man.
No faux political power can ever hope even to approach the "weakness" of sincere femininity, the true power of Woman.
What is the beautiful musical background here?

@AlenaJolie The music is titled 'Pretty Ballerina and is played by French pianist Richard Clayderman accompanied by James Last and his Orchestra.'

Wonderful tribute basil. Miss Jones was an actress I always admired, but I somewhat felt a little sad about because she seemed so shy and not sure she got her just due, although some of that is because she was such a private person. Glad to see other fans here as well. I love her especially in Madam Bovary. Still want to see Cluny Brown. She was so very pretty, with cheek bones that didn't quit. She seemed like a good person, good mother and good wife. RIP Jen.
I've bookmarked all your videos!
