  • Prozac inceases serotonin so how does it cause weight gain.

  • @WhiteLadyofRohan1980 Huh??? Carbs??? No way, serotonin is made frm tryptophan, an amino acid (building blocks of protein). Carbs will be broken down to glocose and glucose contributes no role in production of serotonin.

  • You´re wrong, for increasing your serotonin levels you have to eat carbs NO proteins, read the "serotonin power diet" from Judith Wurtman. And it works, really.
