A Robot with a Dual Track system and 4WD (using 4 motors), 2 x NXT Motors & 2 Large Power Functions Motors. This was more of a prototype than anything to get the Power Functions to Drive In Sync with NXT motors
The original intention was to make this a stair climber to make it lift the front end in view of an object and when that value/Object disappeared then it would work out where to lift to, and then would straighten out on the stairs and drive up the stairs. it was a big goal to set as I had to overcome two Problems, to get the motors the sync with each other because they were different types but finally did it in the end with the Help of Brian Davis. and the second was to get it to lift its weight with the Two parts to the robot but it failed here miserably as with having plastic components it couldn't lift its own weight. This is where I came to a halt and made it into a simple Object Avoider. but in hope that someone will pick up where I left off and be successful!
could you please tell me how you have managed to sync the nxt and powerfunctions motors, as it is a problem iv have for years. PLEASSEEEE thanks

@madmonky32 It's a case of getting the right speed & ratio to match, the best advice I can give is to just keep playing aroudn with the speeds.
