English is the mandated international language of aviation. You may not like it, but those are the rules!

If a Chinese pilot wants to fly out of an international airport - he MUST speak good English. Many lives depend on it.

The question of how many US pilots speak Chinese is totally irrelevant.

Not racism. Just reality. As was said before SEVERAL times, English is the language used in aviation. You might want to learn a little bit about international aviation standards. It's standardized so that confusion like this doesn't happen!

A pilot's ICAO qualification is meaningless because some of the examiners take bribes. At least that is the case here in Brazil. Same for the instrumental flight qualification, which costs R$30,000, according to some pilots I prepare for the ICAO exam.
