@themightyjuju Yup another DIY tool not upto even DIY jobs! Sent back a Bosch DIY drill as didn't include smart charger. Finally went with a Worx professional for slightly more (£10) and a decent charger not "check the temperature of the adapter" kind Bosch DIY flog.
Don't get me wrong Bosch tools are great but their DIY range lacks some quite important features. Some of which like smart chargers use to be included with older tools.

if your thinkig of buying one of these as a gift to someone dont bother . spend more money and get the 10.8v virsion this one only has 3.6v and after two screws needs popping back on charge.

@rurmundo Sounds completely normal to me.

And did the older Skil 2000/2305 cordless screwdriver from the early '80s (also sold by Sears as Craftsman 1120) sound just as worse as this? To my own ears, yes.
Great design, comfortable but NO VARIABLE SPEED?? Whats that all about Bosch? This cripples an otherwise smart design.

@themightyjuju The rock/hard place Bosch - and all manufacturers - come up against is features versus price point, unfortunately. Like you say, great design, comfortable and easy to use, but at a lower prices point than the "blue" tools. But that means certain features, such as variable speed, being held back for the "blue" tools.

Just wondering, i have an ozito brand one of these and would like to know if there are chucks available that hold drill bits. These only hold one specific hex shape.

@00sven00sven00 Not on this model, you need to buy the hex drill bits but they are freely available

Love the right angle adaptor, and the manual screwing. These are really small and light.

@leukorrivore It's a great little device, almost gadget like. Bosch have just released a pro version, which you can see in the video response we've left on this video.
