@wrombola Genocide is wrong, but America is not genocidal. The movie portrays the USMC and other branches of the US Millitary as evil and wrong. "The Day The Earth Stood Still" did the same thing except they also presented an anti-capitalistic, anti-human message as well.

@nr63kish farmers can no longer earn a comfortable living. Check out an article called "The Original Affluent Society" by Marshall Sahlins. He goes further by saying even agriculture creates a problem ----well there are numerous that have developed due to a sedentary lifestyle, but I don't have that much space to type. In the end, the wonder that is capitalism went bad, because let's face it, humans can be greedy little animals, and the world was screwed over because of it.
