Modern Dance hits FSU's Stage: RIOULT

RIOULT is a leading company in the world of modern dance under the direction of Pascal Rioult, who has been called "perhaps the most adept and courageous choreographer in mainstream modern dance today." When Rioult came to the United States from France in the 1980s, he became a principal dancer for the renowned Martha Graham Dance Company before branching out and forming his own company in 1994. Since then, Rioult's company of 10 dancers, based in New York City, has toured the world with performances that speak to both the mind and the heart with works that have been called "sensual, articulate and exquisite."
