It's moments like this that make me wonder why Regis Philbin is considered an "icon". He is so embarrassingly out of his element here; I'm still a novice when it comes to All Things Kinks, yet I knew he was wrong about a.) when they first came to America, and b.) The fact that they were no longer together. RP has been guilty of getting things like this wrong about his guests for many years, yet many people still love him....I really don't get it.

@hiljab we're not all stupid and not all of us -like myself- like regis and kelly and all these other nausiating talking head entertaiment/reality shows we're stuck with. If we were given a better set of choices to watch on tv then the stupid americans around here would be normal like you and me...

@STILLAVRIL1 they are one of the oldest set of bad moring tv talk entertaiment show hosts. All networks got them (I hate the one who has this guys former female cohost over on NBC SO MUCH!!!) Quality had gone out the rulebook since 1987 and gotten worse now. I envy your programming, I am to assume you are from the UK region right? American Tv producers think Americans like their Tv dummed down and their brains turned to mush so not much effort is done anymore just make reality tv it all seems.
