After our feature of a mau5trap remix last week, they told us about Excision's arrival on the label with his album X Rated. The 'T Rexcision' is huge in america and has really helped define that sound alongside Skrillex. 'Jaguar' really stuck out on the album to us, it's mellow vibe and haunting guitars provides a real atmospheric backdrop to Kanye West protoege Mr. Hudson's reflective vocals. It's not your traditional filthy drop, but we always appreciate an artist striking out in a different direction. Datsik lends his hand as well, creating a very unique track. but a drop is very important still :) i hate it when the build up is intense and the bass rises, but at the drop theres no more bass or it suddenly sounds like deadmou5 :(
