  • It's Flynn's 'we know best' attitude that makes me sick. It speaks volumes about Newport, shitehole that it is, that they keep this arrogant sod in power.

  • I think it' the people who call the shots not these con seated pricks.

  • I like how the prick presenting kept calling the majority that disagree with the MP, a 'mob' ....arrogant arsehole.

  • @MrTolleMolle Totally agree!!

  • @captainpanic08

I think public opinion is not in favour giving women licence to kill their children under the age of one(Infanticde act) But parliament is.But I guess mob is wrong!!! It shows that liberal position with regard to criminal justice are sign of mental disorder.

  • I urge every british citizen (subject) concerned with murdering babies under the age of one by their so called mothers to use e - petitions to reapel disgraceful Infanticed act . This piece of legistlation de facto legalized murdering babies by their female parents, radically deacreasing penalties ( eg. 35 hours of community service !!!!)I see it as expression of abominble sentiment that babies are property disposable by their mothers.I think people of conscience should do something about it.

  • @captainpanic08 i not saying public opinion is right, I am saying it just is. Therefore it should be followed by the MPs

  • @sjl1990 An opinion has little value if it comes from a position of ignorance. How many people would still support the death penalty when they've read the statistics that show it's more expensive and less of a deterrent than incarceration? Only a very small, ideologically motivated minority, I'd wager. Public opinion isn't always fair or moral. In fact, 'regressive' is precisely the right word.

  • @MrTolleMolle What? You think public opinion was in favour of abolishing slavery in 1807? I wouldn't bet on it. Or that public opinion was in favour of legalising abortion effectively 'on demand' in 1967? I wouldn't bet on that either. And yet both freedom from slavery and freedom to choose are key principals in a fair, equal society. I'm by no means a supporter of parliament, but it's important that the people making choices are educated about the issues at hand. The public often isn't.
