  • but if it is darker don't you want the l.c.ds to be brighter

  • Nope.. in the dark.. brighter is actually harder to see. You want them darker.

    In bright light, you need them brighter then the ambiet light.

  • The 8pin transparent chip is the parallax light to frequency converter. It can be found in the sensors section at parallax.com

  • propeller is nice, but i'd like to ask about the little dip8 chip on the far left of the board, in line with the led-array and the other dip8 chip. Looks like it's made of transparent plastic, or is it a hallucination? This would be SO COOL to have some chips like that and if you can, please let me know the supplier :) Cheers and happy hacking.
