I remember how amazed an amrican friend of mine was when she came to germany and saw all those Mercedes taxis,truck and busses.

and today a guy in my year at school, who just got his license a week ago, drove his mum's mercedes to school, even though there is all this chaos with the snow and ice!

I've got w124 200D from 1990. Over 700.000km on the Tacho but still in a good condition. Simply, economical and unbreakable. The taxi driver said the truth - the old models were something special.
