The widow maker... Lousy suspension. rubber frame, no brakes, bad ground clearance, death wobbles and a motor that went like the clappers. Have some scary memories of these old triples....

I too survived ownership, the most scary thing ever, went like shit of a shovel, didn't stop, had zero suspension, and a big rubber frame, new underpants required every time it was ridden. Still can't believe I'm still alive after having it.

I survived one of these bikes in the early 80s. That thing went like stink but was scary as hell to ride. I am happy with my Softail these days. Good luck with it and ride safe.
