A very obliging limpkin videod in John Prince Park, Lake Worth, Florida. It took very little notice of us as it fed on what I guess were snails.

Sounds like some Boat-tailed Grackles and a Eurasian Collared-Dove in the background. Did you go twitch the LaSagra's Flycatcher and Thick-billed Vireo that was in Ft. Lauderdale a few days later (05/05/2005)?

No - this was our last full day of the trip. The Collared Dove is so common here in the UK that I mentally totally faze out the call!

This is the most annoying pos creature to walk the earth...this little fu**er gets me up every day at 5:00 witha sound like a burlar alarm going off for hours....he will die soon. i hate to kill any animal but this one doesn't deserve life.
