Often, you can tell how good the code is by how smooth the game feels. This 3rd person camera for example is a smooth piece of work. The camera will never go through walls and the player gently sways from left to right while strafing. In this package, the camera will follow the player directly. Is there a dampener to allow the camera to follow over the player's right or left shoulder? Like in Resident Evil 5 or GoW the camera isn't directly behind the player but off to the side a little bit. it'd be nice to have a variable to adjust this. Maybe 0 for the middle, negative numbers for the left side and positive numbers pushes the camera to the right side.

Can you use unity to make 2d games? not 2.5d.

Unity3.0 is coming with some great new sprite features also.
