Added 7th 12V battery to ZAP to make an 84V traction pack. Offers performance and range improvement over the stock 6 battery 72V pack while also reducing the load placed on the pack in order to drive a particular speed. For example suppose it requires 3500 Watts to maintain 30 MPH. With a 72V pack, the amperage will be 49 Amps. With an 84V pack the amperage will be reduced to 43 Amps.

  • It will be the same wattage but you may save a little on resistance by using a higher voltage. What was the increase in speed when run on 84V?

    Any action vids coming?

    Thanks again

  • Have you ever considered an electric winch to open the bed of the truck? You can set it at any height, it may help aim the solar panels into the sun better when you need to.

    Nice!

  • Excellent! This is a very sharp job. Nice video too! Almost inspiring enough to get me to upgrade my 07 pk.
