The world rankings say that York UK is currently a top 100 university. They also say that York Canada is not.

@Animo37 I appreciate you may have chosen your college now but I'll reply anyway. The advantage of living on East is obviously that you'll be close to your lectures but the problem is you're isolated both from the majority of the uni and town. If I was in your position I'd live on West. You'll have to travel to lectures but there's a free shuttle bus that goes between the campuses every 10 mins so it's not the end of the world. Anyway York's great so I'm sure you'll love it wherever you live!

Having been to York university on a seminar I can tell that majority of students that go to York are average mediocre students with little to no talent.
York is a mediocre university with mediocre students.

@jaminjava2 I've been here for 2 years and Ive NEVER seen it flooded! The lake freezes over in winter, ad sometimes the water level goes up, but it never bust its banks! :D xxxxx
