FutureJazz Project Interview : Soolee, Spctrm

Future jazz 프로젝트는, 컨템포러리 재즈 또는 프리재즈 영역에 속해있습니다. 컴퓨터와 테크놀러지의 눈부신 발전으로 컴퓨터는 중대한 악기로 인식하고 있는 이 시점에서, Jazz에 접목하여 어쿠스틱 악기들이 연주하는 improvisation 을 컨트롤러와 컴퓨터로 실시간으로 만들어내는 소리와 행위들은 연주로 인식되어야만 한다는 컨셉을 가지고 있습니다. 2010 년 서울 프린지 페스티벌에서 선보여진 퓨쳐재즈는 사운드 디자이너이자 프로듀서인 SOOLEE (수리) 가 제안한 아이디어로 SPCTRM 이 프로그래밍 인터렉티브 비주얼로 참여하였고, 키보디스트에 안은정이 함께 하고 있습니다.
또한 퓨쳐재즈 프로젝트는 공연, 프로듀싱 뿐만 아니라 미디어아트 프로젝트로 서울디자인재단 후원으로 동대문 역사문화공원 이벤트홀에서 Designing The Sound 전시에 Jamtable 을 포함한 네개의 작품을 전시한바 있고, 상상마당 겔러리에서 Sync U 전시에도 참여했으며, 돌아오는 8월 2011 서울 프린지 페스티벌에서 두번의 공연을 준비하고 있습니다.

Future Jazz is my new projects, which is belong to contemporary jazz, free jazz and fusion jazz. Since computer and technology is growing up everyday,The technology should be recognized to a significant instrument. Therefore, computer playing is need to be a "playing" like the other jazz instrument.
This project was started from SOOLEE who is a Sound desginer, DJ and producer and SPCTRM joined as Interactive programming visual artist, also Ahn Eun-jung is playing keyboard in this project.
In addition, Future Jazz is not only doing performance but prodcing media art work. Future Jazz joined a media art exhibition "Designing the sound" supported Seoul Design Foundation and also joined Sang Sang Madang gallery.

in this year Future Jazz is going to perform twice in 2011 Seoul Fringe Festival on Aug.
