alright, i have a question. the backup singer sounds a lot like paul, is it? i don't remember john working with paul during this time, but it just sounds a lot like him.
Sort of but its John double tracking his voice for the backups.
Besides John on this the studio version theres Eric Clapton on lead guitar, Klaus Voormann on bass and Ringo Starr on drums.
Pauls not around. John presented this song to Paul for the Beatles to record but Paul refused it. According to Peter Brown an associate of the Beatles
Theres another version live from the Toronto album that was officially released. Its the same line up except Alan White is on drums instead of Ringo.
Thanks! He must have adapted to Paul's voice over time. :D. And I think I do remember reading about Paul refusing it because of the image that The Beatles had, or something related to that.
